Yes, time has finally run out on Hairspray. This past Sunday (January 4th) marked the final performance of the fun, high-energy show, which had two of its OBC stars returning for its final weeks.

On the upside, the rights to this show will hopefully become available soon, which is good news for comunity theatres and high schools across the country!

One thing fans will have to look ahead to- a sequel to the movie version of this musical. How they will make it work, I have no idea, but somehow they will…

On a personal note, I ask that you please excuse my lack of posts and occasional incoherency. I just got back to school from winter break, and I am begining rehearsals for the spring musical, writing a murder mystery, studying for the HSPAs and SATS (sort-of), looking at colleges, and a lot of other things, like having a social life. This results in my checking playbill.com for updates when I am very tired, and not really in the mood to be typing up posts… Speaking of which, it is time for me to go to sleep….
